Annie has done reiki on my dogs and myself for years… many more years to come. She has the persona of calm, making you instantly feel at ease. Reiki will take you through emotions and a great sense of aaaah. I have also done Annie’s animal reiki courses and learned so much about myself and the animals that need our help. What a lovely day of learning I had on Saturday! After completing the Reiki first degree in January 2020 with Annie Robertson at her base in South Queensferry, I had immediately booked a place for the second degree schedule to take place on the 28th of March. I engaged with the excellent course materials in preparation and was looking forward to the course day. Little did anyone know at that time that Coronavirus would prevent the face-to-face course going ahead. However, all was not lost since Annie offered to run the course virtually for myself and another participant, each in our own homes (with our respective ‘guinea pigs’ to hand for our reiki treatments). I was so glad this was an option, rather postpone until the current crisis is over. Annie had spent the day before the course exploring different platforms for conference calls to ensure everything went smoothly, and on the day we found Google Hangouts worked very well to connect us. Annie was a super teacher, so kind in her approach and clear in her explanations. Plenty room was given for me and the other participant to reflect on our experiences of the reiki empowerments, use of symbols and other practical activities. In addition, the following day Annie sent a summary of the learning with suggestions to establish a routine of reiki practice such as self-healing, meditations, distant healing of others and empowerments. All I’m all, the experience of carrying out the course at distance was excellent. Thank you so much Annie, the other participant and our ‘guinea pigs’ for making this an amazing course. 28 August, 2023 One week ago, I attended Annie’s Animal Reiki Advanced Practitioner Course. As soon as I entered her front door, she immediately set the tone for the entire day, with her natural warmth, consideration and easy way of being. A cup of coffee was first on the agenda! Annie has a very light and free flowing nature and there is no set curriculum as such. She naturally considers what you, the student, would like to get out of the experience and tailors the course accordingly. Everything flows naturally as a result. As an Usui Reiki Master, trained from a Western perspective, I guess I was expecting a rigidly structured learning experience; however, Annie’s more free-flowing approach truly reminded me of the real essence of Reiki - of truly being in the moment and truly coming from the heart! Annie has a real heart connection to her instructing, to her student(s) and to the joy of sharing Reiki. She is genuinely interested in being there for you both during the course and after its’ conclusion. She offers extremely useful tips, information and is so giving of her self and her time! I am so very glad I chose her as my guide in this new Animal Reiki journey that I am setting out on. I can absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend her as a Reiki Master/Teacher, whose clear love of teaching and of sharing knowledge, love and wisdom is evident in every way.

I thoroughly enjoyed my course with Annie. She is an excellent teacher and puts everyone at ease. The course content is great with both manual and CDs so you can choose how and when to use either and/or both to suit personal circumstances. It's a great way of learning. I really like this approach which is one of the reasons why I chose Reiki Evolution in the first place. I know I made the right choice for me. I guess your methods are simply on my wavelength and also on those of the others who attended with me. I intend to do the animal Reiki next. So far I've done the live training, which was vital for me to be with others, but I might choose the home study approach next – simply due to personal commitments, although I would like to do the live one as well. I'll have to wait a bit first though.

I have been lucky to receive hands on and distance reiki treatments from Annie. I have severe M.E and anxiety, and don’t have energy in my own body. After a distance reiki treatment from Annie I feel calm, settled in my soul, and have free headspace. I have a bit of energy too that is wonderful. Annie is an intuitive, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable reiki practitioner and teacher, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
